today I dropped off my cylinder head at the shop for testing

fingers crossed it's not cracked or porous!

can it be skimmed?

Thanks, didn't think so

guy at shop just called, it's passed but he wanted to skim it as said it has some marks that may cause problems in the future?? new one on me that?

Head should NOT be skimmed to take out a warp. Depends how deep the marks are, normally you can clean up a head with 320 wet or dry wrapped around a flat block. Using paraffin as a lube.

not letting them skim it, it's being collected now
