Hello! First time posting on here so please be gentle..
I have an '82 ex mod 109 petrol 2.25 (LPG conversion) which I aquired a month ago and have done 1500miles in it since. Yesterday I found the horrible mayonnaise like stuff under the oil filler which means that water is mixing with the oil, suggesting the head gasket has blown. But it has lost NO water from the cooling system since I bought it & the temperature is perfectly normal at all times. There's white smoke when I start the engine but that clears up after a minute or so.
Is there any other way I could be getting water into the engine? Or is there any other reason I could be getting the 'mayonnaise' under the filler cap? I'm a bit confused. Anyone got any suggestions?
Also..whats the best way of getting the slime out?!
Any help would be much appreciated.
