have got to change head gasket on my 300tdi auto 96 again now i know 300tdi have a bit of a thing for head gaskets so anyone got any recomandation on whick gasket i should use there seemes to be a lot of diffrent makes of gasket out there

I used a motaquip one, mainly coz i work for a factors and it was cheaper. but no probs with it at all, they all have to manufactured to a tolerance of +/- 0.5% or thereabouts maybe less, so all should be on a par, but AE/Payen/BGI are pretty good too....

Get the head skimmed to ensure the repair is effective. I have used Elring and Payen without problems.
