Hi, have got a RRS 4.2 Supercharged, after you turn on ignition and it does the system check, then turnover engine, I immediately get on the display 'HDC FAULT SYSTEM NOT AVAILABLE'

However upon pressing the HDC switch, it all works fine and the green HDC icon comes on in the dial on the dash to say that you've got HDC on. There is no warning or info on the display to say there is a fault!

Is this normal, or is there a fault? Any comments would be helpful on this.

Also is it normal for the air suspension to go down if vehicle not used for a few days? It's only on the offside rear that goes down. Sometimes after use it gives out a woosh of air - again is this normal?

Thanks for your help in advance

Cheers

Roger

Could be a weak battery causing HDC issues, get it on Diagnostics and see if there a fault code logged...may give a clue.

The car should stay level within a few mm over a few days...if it goes down considerably after a short time, it could be the Airbag is worn...they only last around 70-80k or so...how old is your L320?

The woosh could be a leak in the bag or the Suspension exhaust valve venting to level the car once you switch off and get out...
