about a week ago i removed the hdc switch and wiring upto the scoket where it was pluged in i now have the warning light on the dash showing theres a fault is there a way to reset the light or is this a garage job

this only happened last night and ive done 200+ miles with the switch being disconected

Hi kosh,

That's not at all unusual.

Put the switch back and after another few journeys it should go off if everything is working correctly.

Lots of these warning lights do not react immediately to a change.

Same with OBD fault codes - they clear themselves after a time, if the fault does not recur.
