12.2v having Sat not running for an hour so new battery is first step!
Get the biggest battery that will fit the space, take no notice of what Halfrauds and the like say, they are often wrong. Don't be persuaded to get an AGM battery unless your handbook specifies AGM. Try Battery Megastore on line, I can recommend Hankook batteries from experience.
When you get the new battery, put it on charge for 24 hours before fitting. If you still have only 14.3 volts with the engine running, look for a defective earth connection from chassis to engine. A jump lead from alternator mount to battery negative is an easy way of checking, if the voltage at the battery increases with the jump lead, there is a bad earth. It is also worth checking the positive from alternator to battery and checking the voltage at the alternator output with the engine running if accessible safely.
