Hi my traction control light & hdc warning lights come on in my 2005 freelander td4.
If I stab at the brakes they go of, any ideas

Wheel speed sensor(s) or brake pump I believe. Proper diagnosis will tell.

Sounds like brake light switch rather then anything more expensive or serious

Hi guys sorry for delay in answering, have been ill in hospital, all ok now.
I think it is brake light switch as brake lights have gone now, can you please tell me where this switch is and how do i fit it.

switch be above the brake pedal ..
as to fitting it .. this might help :

if not .. try a forum search .. be plenty of threads on the subject ( fairly common issue )
.. note there are potentially 2 types of switch that can be used ..

Fixed it, new switch fitted and all ok now, thanks for help guys
