Well that was definately worth every penny when we opened it quote unquote "now that is a nice piece of work like that mind it will take some time to fix it on " :D:D

My rear crossmember is gonna need doing before long. I'm hoping that I can save up some dosh to be able to pay pressbrake a visit.:)

Well worth the effort Ratty. If you are up my way anytime drop by and have a look at mine.

Mine was supplied and delivered for £125 down to deepest darkest Cornwall and am well pleased with it! its got more meat on it than my Trucks well not quite but you get the idea absolutely brilliant! :D

And thanks to shifty for the refer on Lz!
No worries. Its hard enough these days to find a decent product with all the ****e Chinese crap flooding the market so when I do I like to let others know. I'd seen the pattern parts available and was not impressed. I did consider making my own HD crossmember but at the price Clive quoted to supply and fit it was a no brainer. Also my welding is not as pretty (and very likely not as strong) as his and I regularly tow up to the maximum with my 90.

Just so you know I'm not on commission

Cheers.

I'm still after a rear winch mount so it may be worth me hanging fire on that and seeing if there is summit that Clive can do cos I have a cunning plan in my head but need to save some wonga and then have a chat with him.;)

Yu still working on that? Yu told me yu had something a couple of years ago:confused:.

Just another heads up.
I took delivery of my heavy duty front bumper yesterday and its every bit as good as the rear xmember.
Made out of the same 6mm steel complete with matching recovery points and fits like a glove. Heavy old bugger to lift into place though. The courier was none too impressed when he had to lift it out of his truck.
Clive also made a few minor adjustments for me at no extra charge which was nice.
Top man. Keep up the good work.

Received my rear crossmember from Clive today. Its a work of art compared to most of the overpriced **** on the market. Can not wait to get it fitted. Mine is about to crumble to bits!!!

Cheers Clive

While we're in back slapping mode, collected the three HD steering rods Clive made for us last week, needless to say spot on, the EN24 steel he used just is not going to bend.Must have been your cross member I was looking at while I was down there.

hi guys, yup clive has still got it. recieved my hd crossmember today,as per clives promise. fantastic piece of metalwork.
land rover should take note and feel ashamed at the crappy work they turn out.
thank goodness we have firms like blacksheep around selling good quality products.

I too got a cross member fabricated by Clive. I picked it up just before new year.

A seriously great bit of kit and without a doubt better than anything else I have seen on the market.

I'm having my galvanised and should be back today.

I will post some pics/thread when I get it and fit it.

Thanks Clive. Top fella .

Just out of curiosity do they deliver? The website was a bit empty though im sure i seen something on here before that said collection only. Wouldnt mind one of the HD bumpers when ive got the cash but its a bit of a drive for me from sunny Scotland

I am glad to see this thread brought to the front as I have been looking for a rear cross member and front bumper. I saw the front bumper on ebay and wanted it before I realized that it was from the same guy (Pressbrake) that made the HD rear cross member. I can PM him but is he still fitting them, I know last summer he was not going to fit them but still make them but his site said that it can be fitted to your vehicle while you wait. I live in Mildenhall and my landy is slow but I need to make an appointment to come down and get the crossmember and bumper. Would be great if it can be sorted there as I dont know of any good welders around here.

Cheers,
Doug
