2 stupid questions on my S3:

I dont appear to have a hazard warning switch - I guess this is normal? If so is there a general fix/ mod?

My doors dont align to the rest of the body, seem to sag a bit, can they be adjusted......

:eek:

They don't have Hazard Warning lights. I suppose you could fit them as aftermarket.

Doors don't fit - Yep.

my S3 has hazards - switch in the middle between the two dials...

Very easy mod to add if you want it though

doors not fitting... yeh... its a bugger.

You will need to source the switch but they do come up on ebay..... are you fitting hazards cos you think you might break down?;)

Thanks for the diagram.

Listen, Im still learning what things like the letter E means on the fuel guage - in my other cars, E = 40 miles left. It appears in the Rover, E = well, empty - how novel. Twice now Ive had this lesson and yearned for hazards. So yes, and thats not accounting for actual, real breakdowns...:)

Lucky bugger - E on mine means F*** all!

1/2 means empty - somewhere off the top of the scale is full
:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Hiya Newby from Newbury, if you go to a breakers yard you can pick up a switch for pence. If your doors are very badly fitting then there is a possibility the bulkhead has been removed and repaired off the vehicle, causing a certain loss of true. There is a bit of adjustment according to the Haynes restoration manual, by loosening the locktab on the hinge nut and increasing/decreasing the load on the spring. Locktabs frequently break but will be cheap to replace. I would suggest the purchase of a Haynes manual. Good luck with the S3 and we allways appreciate photos on here, well, I do anyway.:)
