Can somebody help me with a very strange problem..


When I turn on my Hazards I sometimes get nothing, or I might get the right hand side flashing, or maybe the left hand side flashing, and on occasion both sides will flash it will go from one to the other and do what it likes if left on and there doesn't seam to be a pattern to it.

As I want to send it off the get a MOT I think this needs sorting.

Hopefully its simple but before I re-wire the whole system I thought there might be a fix??

Flasher unit?

Could be a bad earth- clean it up and see if it improves

As it will work both sides - just not together very often - I'd start with the switch. As it's not the most frequently used item I'd simply start by operating it 'a few' times and see if you've just got a dirty or sticking contact.

Ok Cheers, I was thinking flasher unit. Will check it out next time I am tinkering and have a play. Its been off the road since about 2004 so might be the contacts.
