Apologies if there is a thread for this already - can someone point me at it please

2002 F1 TD4 GS - The hazard warning lights and indicators arent working. This was an intermittent fault but is constant now. I've checked fuses for hazards & indicators and all are good. The hazard swwitch on the dashboard doesnt light up when pushed on. Irritatingly the indicators flash when I lock/unlock the car....

Have you checked the relay?

Could be the switch is faulty - I'd try a substitute switch as a first port of call

Yes using a square 9v battery put it across the coil and see if it clicks

Ideally using a multimeter to check the contacts close

9v may not be enough to energise it. May be better to take a cheeky 12v off your car battery.

The relay is dead, off to Mr Ebay for a replacement...thanks for your help guys
