Hi all, I've been looking on various forums for an answer to this tricky problem.

Since buying the car (R plate 300tdi) the hazard lights and horn haven't worked properly. The previous owner had bypassed the horn circuit so that it would work and the indicators work as normal. However the hazard light do not work at all apart from inhibiting the indicators. So far I've tried new switches and relays and cleaning the connectors. Both the hazards and horn remain stubbornly not working.:confused:

The hazard lights also don't flash when I activate the central locking and alarm. The main actuator goes a bit hey wire when locked and makes a grinding noise. Could this be anything to do with it?

Any help gratefully received

Simon

Try introducing yourself first as you'll have noticed, you've no replies.

Can't help with problem as such but, after using my hazard lights and then turning off my indicators won't work until I put the hazards on and off again.

My apologies, been running round so much with work and fixing bits on the Disco I forgot my etiquette. I've just been reading the wave etiquette thread to improve myself, although round here most green ovals seem to be the of the status symbol variety :(
