Thinking bout buying one of these, read various reviews good and bad, anyone got one that can shed more light ? Many thanks.

I have one plus points easy to use and understand does most things I have needed to do over the last 2 years

That sounds good, had a sensor go last year and my local garage charged me £35 just to diagnose it now the 3 amigos are on again, I reckon I'd get my money back on the other 3 sensors alone.
Also looked at the Lynx but the need for a laptop is putting me off.

Now had a look at the Nanocom which is roughly the same price as the Hawkeye, it also mentions that it covers the auto box but i cant see if the Hawkeye does likewise, anyone shed some more light, thanks.....

As it happens... I'm selling my HawkEye v5 (only unlocked for Disco II) as I've just bought a Testbook off my local Indy garage.

I've had both HawkEye and Nanocom and I prefer the HawkEye even though the Nanocom does far more. The HawkEye is easy to use and dead stable. The Nanocom does more but in my experience, has many glitches that cause it to lock up far too frequently. This was on fairly old firmware so if you get a new version, they may have been sorted now.

Anyway, if you're interested in the HawkEye please drop me a PM - I was going to put it on ebay at the weekend so I'm glad I popped onto this forum today :) Only looking for £225 plus £10 postage (to mainland UK inc insurance). Or you can collect from Doncaster. They're nigh on £300 new - and this one is as new and includes the case and lead. Works perfectly of course.

Cheers, Sam
