I hope you got it sorted without getting it MOTd on the wrong vin , as then there will be a record relating the vin to to reg number . You will then have a problem as they will not match on the records and you will need evidence that you purchased a "new chassis" which would not have a vin that has already been allocated . Saying that you would be doing this on a public forum probably wasnt the smartest , especially as VOSA et al quite possibly read these ! JMHo
