+1, did have a bit of a problem with my R/R remote yesterday, would not lock but would unlock. Turned out to be the ignition switch, something is sticking when I withdraw the key and it thinks the key is still in. Graphite powder ordered and on it's way.

I had the ignition switch do that couple of years ago keep telling me key in sorted with contact cleaner then the graphite worked ok ever since, blamed that for the flat battery at the time we live and learn
