Thats perfect thanks
I was considering on using the leaf spring set up as the new land rover last year at the militry demo has a simular set up on parabolic springs just need to cut the chassis as a series vehicle.

have a look at sum of the links also on there as well more 110 stuff if you have a good luck around it

yer big problem is getting the drive to the other axle. some company do a 'V' drive for landies but at £5K a throw seems a tad exsessive. You can get a bottom PTO that fits on the underneath of a series box which would be one way of doing it or use a normal pto with some kinda transfer box to drop it down to the new axle.
If you go this way , which is what i'm trying to do you would either have to turn yer axle upside down and re-locate all fittings for springs etc and fit a new drain hole fer yer oil. then redo the breather. or use a front axle with modified ends, I.E ends that dont swivel. this should put the diff near enough in line with the pto and leave all fittings, drains etc in the correct place.
