Hi hello to all english fellows .. I bought first time english car so this forum seem to be best place to ask abot some maintanance issues

Since I bougt it during soft accleration I felt short harshness at 1 gear smth 2 too.. smth between 1300-1800 rpm, feel on acceleration pedal but harder on passenger floor , in each situation(turning right, drive ahead as well as turning left- and accelerating of course)

All fluids changed, what need attention is
-front brakes pads(3mm)
-front brakes discs- bot have upper edge mor then 2 mm
-connector stabilizer (soft and need to be change)
-pivot arms (both sides)

Should I expect that above disfunctions could couse harshness ? if not please share your expirience concerning harshness I described

The boys and girls on here are more able (and with some, inclined)to help if you introduce yourself and more importantly your vehicle.

petrol / diesel ? year ? mileage ? introduction or SEARCH is a good start:), oh & your gearbox is prob on its last legs

Ok you are right , so Andrew from Poland , 2007 RR vouge 159 000 km on the clock

Gearbox on last legs,?
Why no faults, gears changing fine , no rattles etc, no leakages

Only some metal harshnes (also hearable however good ear is a must) which is availble to feel only in 1-2 seconds in specific rpm and 1 and 2 gear

According to my opinion right side front

I'd be looking at the CV joints if it is a rhythmic knocking....

Else start looking at suspension bushes as these can knock and groan....

This is not knocking ...its rather like harshness some "bzzz" sound which stays 1-2 second in1/2 gear , like smth is touching to smth else

If this is something that goes away when you accelerate "hard", then it suggests that something is resonating at a certain frequency.

Could there be something loose relating to the moving parts of the transmission drive system, even something as minor as a bit of trim or slightly unbalanced driveshaft?

Is it engine speed related or wheel speed related?

Its clearly hearable and feelable on the passenger floor as well as acc pedal when car is normaly accelerating on 1(clear) an 2 (not so clear as on 1 gear) when between 1400-1800 rpm, then vanished or others natural sound from engine and driveshaft cover it.

its really quick , not available during stable ride (without acceleration)

In addition(dont know important or not) at each gear change peak level (in Normal mode is smth about 2200 rpm)i feel small harshness on acceleration pedal however asked authorised dealer consultant about it and he explaind that its normal for that gearbox and that car. In some forum even New range owners suggests some " gap for improvement" at that area.

From my cars expirience(as a driver) changing gears point should be maybe more soft however I have not drived car with 600Nm tourqe and sync 4x4 before.Just to clarify no rattles, shaking or knocking just harshness and only seconds before gear change to upper one.

Time to check gearbox oil levels and condition, as well as the Filter...

Just after suggestion from that forum I called to my mechanics and asked them about metal remains in the changing filter and old oil ,

Nothing , no signs of extensive use or any other potential problems, oil looked quite good and no raspings ...in the filter and plug

Hi

Is it possible that cv joints bearings(wheel bearings) could sounds only few seconds in some specific rpm during acceleration?

So
brakes pads and disks changed
yesterday hub/cv joints(wheel) bearing change

Harshness still exists... its like to metal parts touching slightly each other for few second when cars accelerating(slowl acceleration)

All seem to be on right side (this non UK version -LHD) ,I feel it on my accelerating pedal , sound comes from passenger side , passenger feel vibration on foot.

Some days ago I lifted car (all wheels) and strat engine , switched to D and 3 guys try to listen to the car.....when wheels are up absolutely not harshness....and no strange sounds descibed above....

what to do next? wait for additional symptoms?

transfer box as far as I know is smwhr near the rear diff , I almost 100% sure that harshness or high freq vibras come from front part of the car.. I dont feel it on my back (seat) the same as passengers area... ,front passenger feels that harshness mostly on the floor as well as me as a driver mostly on the acceleration pedal

its really hard to explain how its sound and feel
