Hi all,
Going swopping my truckcab on my 90 with my fathers hardtop. I've got new seals for both 90s for reassembly but wondering do you just put the seals in the gaps or use some sealant aswell??
I've searched a good bit on it and from what I can find they don't have sealant from the factory?? But i have heard sikaflex mentioned so I have got some in black if people think it would be a better job?

Also neither trucks leak at all at the moment so should I remove van sides/truckcab and roof altogether and refit and leave the roof seals alone??
Thanks
Philip

I never used sealant on my rebuild and I just used the old seals as well.
Remove as one big unit and refit.
Is there a tailgate on the truckcab, you might have trouble with the rear door fitting but check before you start.

Okay thanks for that, maybe new seals was a waste but any I don't use can go in my landy spares dept.. it's getting bigger all the time..
