Hey all,

New to the world of the Defender and currently looking into decking out the back of my 90 Hardtop. Have bought myself side wall and floor covering/insulation and was wondering if there was any tried and tested methods for solving the condensation from the roof.
Is there some sort of insulation pack for example? Something similar to the side wall panels that can be bought.

Thanks for your help,

Kev

Just buy some camping mat and fix with high temp spray adhesive

Cheap and easy, looks OK and totally cured any condensation in my 90 hardtop

There's photos on here somewhere

Cheers mate. Will have a look into it.
Have since found a couple of sites that do lining as well.

Thanks again.

My station wagon 90 didn't have any headlining in the back so i bought some sound proofed backed carpet from NoiseKiller at one of the LRO shows - real cheap - and stuck it on there. Seems to do nicely. I don't really seem to get any hassle from condensation from it. Not that I can notice anyway. If if I can find a pic later, I will put it on here.

I used self adhesive closed-cell foam covered with auto-trimming carpet. I'd advise fitting the foam in small-ish pieces, and the carpet in one piece, but the end result is good

Best adhesive is Trimfix High Temp
