Hi team, New to the site and a freelander, my 2001 has rear window prob, will open when I disconnect battery, will close on the switch when I reconnect, then nothing, I have been told that I could have a hard top sensor fault, I have been told I can by pass this sensor, has anyone tried, can it be done, what do I have to do, will this cause me more probs, thanks in advance

Replaced grinding wiper motor now tail gate window works, no need to " wire out " the hard top sensor
