I find even with a full length soft top that if you leave the back open and drive at speed in the rain then the spray still gets you a little. It’s ok though. My skin is waterproof lol.

I also found with my longer home made bikini that I had a few years back that it flaps around a lot when driving.

You need to try one of the gears marked 1 ,2,3,4,5............Not the one marked R....................:p:p:p:p

Will be interesting to see how the Bikini sits on the new frame you have, due to the double frame where the bikini ends.

Cheers

This is what I mean.

This is a shorter bikini from Allwheeltrim.

Yeah. I’ll make it work but it’s probably going to be a few months before I try when the weather improves.

Yep I had noticed that, I wonder if it’s a Venturi type effect as your going forward - low pressure at the rear of the vehicle ‘pulls’ the water in.

I noticed it did it with road spray aswell even when the rain had stopped - like a fine mist

Picked up an old stock brand new green canvas roof still in its packet. Also picked up this heavy duty frame from a fabricator. Seems very well made and thick. Im just waiting on a header rail now and will hopefully all be fitted in a few weeks.
Where did you source this? I need this also along with a new soft top, mine is in tatters and the WOLF one I bought doesnt fit, off by 2 inches

That looks cool - is it like a roll cage? Would it be strong enough to strap things (timber etc) to when the rag top is off?

It’s not a roll cage. But is very sturdy. I’d feel confident strapping timber to it. It takes my weight without and sign of flex.
