could be...

could be just a broken / loose drive belt to the pump / low fluid or any one of several other possibilities.

More info needed and you need to eliminate the basics first.

i was scared to death when similar occurred gradually? on my Hybrid,
fortunately turned out to be seized steering column u.j.!
Should have fitted better inner wing!

Check the steering column uj's. My steering suddenly went stiff and it turned out to be the uj's.
Nothing wrong with the green ones, they are good tractors
 
Not really into the tractor side of things, but seeing as i work for Massey Ferguson on the Combine side of things i have some loyalty to the brand :)
