Hello happy xmas to you all,
my name is Marc from Notts.
Just brought a 110 200tdi defender and luvvvvvving it
Does any one have any info about tyres or any mods i can get to give me more mpg?
also looking for a top part of an o/side wing and maybe a bonnet if the price is right....
and does anyone have any info regarding decent locks to fit to the doors as you can open mine with anything .

o yes nearly forgot how many speeds are the wipers suppose to have mine has intermitent and slow ha ha ha

Merry xmas and welcome to the forum Marc, might be better putting your question in the "Defender Section" cos' not everyone looks in this bit. As for the locks? Get yourself a big dog and don't worry about the locks!!!

you could get a new air filter (high flow)...i put a cone on mine...there pretty easy to install

i usually put a condom on mine but if you're happy with a cone thats great.
( **** this boy must have a big one he puts a road cone on it!!!)
don't forget to put some checker plate on it

would this give me more miles per gallon?
what about tyres?
does anyone know the best to use for economy?

a cone filter would give you more mpg...it lets more air into the engine and therefore lets it breathe easier...its like when you run...the more you open your mouth to breathe, the easier it is to run so you use less energy
