Hi,
My name is Peter (bit like A.A. isn't it ?), I have quite happily used a 2000 Freelander xei as a second car which I (and Mrs Peter) have thoroughly enjoyed.
I now intend towing a caravan with her (the freelander, not her indoors!) and despite being totally new to forums look forward to showing my ignorance about all things to do with this subtle pastime.:)

welcome mr peter
what sort of caravan are you planning on towing?
dont go for anything big with freelander they ain't that good for towing unfotunatley for you:eek:
and i heard fuel consumption is not to good either on freelander when towing
should of got a disco or a defender for that job:D
but hope you enjoy caravaning anyway and don't let me put you off:eek:
try it for your self

oh an you gonna get shed loads of ****e on here for owning a freelander:rolleyes:

I spose most flander owners are happy for a while, sometimes for more than a day!.

As its a second car praps yo dunt use it much.

As regards the shed on wheels, dont do it. There annoyin!!!

Oh yeh, welcome anorl.

just don't tow the shed on wheels over the Tamar - you'll be fine then.
