Hi. Got another problem with my 300tdi disco. Is there a spring on inside the handbrake handle? Pushed the release button on my handbrake,button went in brake came off but button stoped in. Handbrake is not ratcheting. You can push button out from behind handbrake but as you push it in again it stays in. Anybody any ideas?

This happened to mine, the rod inside has got bent slightly.
take the lever off, bend the rod a fraction till it works again.

hi, had similer problem some time ago - just sprayed a bit of WD40 and played with it for a while and been fine since
