I have put my 1984 110 in for nct in ireland and they failed it on no handbrake warning light, now i have no switch on the handbrake and i have some info that they werent standard until later. I contacted land rover and they tell ne they dont have that info which I find hard to believe. Test inspectors tell me if I can prove it they werent fitted they will let it go does anybody have that info please.

That sounds like rubbish, if the warning light is there then it should work, if you don't have one then there is nothing to check
Is it a 110 or 109? I thought 109 went up to 1985?

It's a 110 the warning light is not connected at the dash and there is no provision for a switch on the lever
