Hey again lol,

Just a bit of advice needed as mot coming up.. when on a hill, if i stop and apply the handbrake, as soon as i lift my foot of the break pedal the landrover moves back an inch or so before it stops. is this normal??

Its always worth reminding the mot tester of this...he may look at you and say 'dont tell me how to do my job'..but its not unknown for a landy to have its handbrake tested on a rolling road in a moment of 'epic fail'...

This is only funny if its not your landy..

yep they all do it thats what happens when your truck weighs almost two ton

Mitsubishi canters are 7.5 ton trucks and they have prop brakes too. You should see the look on peoples faces when yer park a recovery truck version of em on a hill and start winching the vehicle onto the back with it rocking like fook.:p:p:p

Rolling back! well well I never knew that.. that's what you get with 23 years of driving auto's :D

my handbrake is shot and i'm fed up of rebuilding it.

i'm saving up/waiting for the right moment for an x-eng disc conversion.

i have no handbrake for hill starts when offroading so have to kinda heel and toe it, with big boots on, which are covered in mud.

lol :D

You can't do J turns either, although that doesn't stop everyone trying!!
