Yeh, i pulled that other lever, so i could get the cable in, and as far as i could tell it just slotted in.

Btw, if you're wondering, why i didn't look before i took the other one out, it was kind of a mess, and wouldn't budge, so i just cut the bleeter off in the cab and in the shoe, so i could remove it.

Yeh, to the part where it enters the drum yeh? I done that :) Then it retracts back?

theres a spring clip that holds outer cable to back plate but the inner cable has an outer spring which pushes against the shoe lever , to fit cable to lever spring must be pulled back

Whats that clip thing, called, that holds the cable in place, just by the entrance there? I snapped that?

Mad Hat, thankyou for your pics by the way, most helpful!!! (Anyway i can repay you?)

Will be taking it apart and starting again tomorrow, soon as i finish work, and woke up again. (Night shifts :( )

Do you think I'll get away with either using a jubilee or a cable tie? As far as I know it just holds it in place, Yeh?

Whoop! All done, thanks guys!

Just one little problem now. Handbrake lever button keeps sticking. Tried spraying some wd40 on the mechanism, and it helped a bit, but hasn't cured it. Any ideas?

Never mind, ignore the last part, realise it's common, and the rod has bent. Will sort it out tomorrow. Thanks guys :)
