I've had my air con de-gassed and re-gassed recently. The handbook symbol has always come on occasionally and then disappeared but the air con was always fine (permanantly on Auto) It now appears to be displayed constantly. The air con is blowing nice and cold although the righhand vent of the two in the middle of the dash is slightly "warmer" than the left. Could this be why the handbook symbol is permanantly on? Is this a quick fix or is it a dealer job? Should I just live with it as it is 14 year old car?!

Any advise please...

It's due a service really. Would this be something a decent RR mechanic could look at. I'm afraid I'm not mechanically minded, but I do use a good mechanic.

If they have faultmate or testbook or similar-they need to have access to more than just engine fault codes.

If a new blend motor is required then it will need programming to avoid long term damage on stall- there are also short cuts to the official Land rover way of changing them
