ok, so i know the hand painting has been covered, I have read these with interest, but it doesnt say much about ideal / easiest colours to use.

I should imagine that due to the 'non perfect' finish you get using rollers then certain colours will be more forgiving, for example i cannot see silver taking to well to a roller.

my question is what are these colours and what are peoples experience.

my landy is dark blue but looking rough. I think I am swayed to go for white, for 2 reasons.
white metal paint is easier and cheaper to get (for the inside not the actual outside painting). and i like the look of white against black bumpers and wheels etc.

however i am open to suggestion if certain colours take easier.

also any photos would be great as i love pics :D

white will be a pain to look reasonably clean.
so is black
red doesn't like hills
fluorescent pink would work, it's easy to hide runs as people are still in shock when you go past. :D

You'll get a better result from a brush or a roller. Don't use your hand. My youngest brought a picture home from pre school and although we told him it was great, It was just hand prints.

Here's mine. Put it on with a roller and lightly went over it with a paint brush. I did start to flatten it but got bored! Looked ok though.

damn I was hoping to use some orange and potato prints too for extra effect and to spice it up a bit ;)

like the look of your in white mate, good job.

I am sure my daughter would love fluorescent pink, not sure i would ever live it down though.

do fancy some sort or burnt orange colour though also.

Id stick to a solid colour. I want mine long term to be eye catching but subtle, don't know how that works, but I'm thinking either NATO Green or Sand, a bright solid blue or grey. I would like something that will not stand out like a sore thumb on a Greenlane, but then I also quite fancy g4 orange.
