Every time i use the hand brake on any type of slope the thing thinks its
an american motor, and rolls about 6inch's foward or backwards, depending
on whether im faceing up or down... The hand brake itself works fine...
So is this normal or is something wrong???:eek:
 
yea, but 6" sounds excessive.
mine only moves an inch or so.

check yer play in yer props, diffs, halfshafts etc.
 
I caught my Mrs pulling up the handbrake with both hands the other day, I said, " what are you doing ", she replied that she needs to pull it really tight as the car feels like its going to roll away .

I explained to her about the transmission brake, but I have a feeling it may have gone over the top of her head !!. ( having said that, she can work the washing machine !! ).

Aye ah've got loads of pics, what dae ye wantae see? Got pics of how it used tae be, what it's like now and a **** load of pics of the work that's bin done on it;) :D :D
