Hi,

I have just changed the pads and discs on the front of my freelander sport td4 and have noticed that the hand brake light ( Red exclamation one ) is on all the time when driving. Could i have mis lodged something? Any ideas please?

Has it got pad wear sensors, you might have a chafed wire.

+1 Check the brake fluid level sensor. I fiddled around for ages with the handbrake switch before realising the handbrake light is also the low fluid level light. The level sensor needed dismantling and cleaning.

Is the sensor inside the brake fluid reservoir? The brake fluid is above the minimum line

yes it is inside the reservoir, with having it jacked up to do the work it just might have got stuck.
