I dont bother using me card for parts coz its two painful talking to the ****er behind the counter that clearly has no clue

Good for some stuff though (battery's as said)

I asked if there solar charges have trade discount on ,they do £40 to about £32
I havent check prices anywhere ellse yet though

Get some business cards for a fake business in the motor trade and either get some stickers on your landy or take out an add in a local newspaper -take as evidence of being "in the trade"

Got a B&Q trade account but not got a Halfrauds one yet. But I tend to use Eurocarparts for my motoring needs

In fact, just got a new battery for the wife's focus - we're chopping it in next year, but, the battery is dead as a dodo. New appropriate battery just cost me a whole £38, can't complain at that really!
 
I find the best discounts are on anything Halfords own.

Tools, fluids etc.

No discount on camping or ICE equipment.

But wow the discount on the tools alone is enough to butter my muffin.

I do loves my trade card. :D :D

Looking at their website, seems they want a bit more than that, proof of your training as a mechanic, NVQs or something like that? Or is that just to try and dissuade every Tom, Dick & Harry from having a go at getting one? :D

Depends which staff you get, the business cards / advert normally satisfy them, but, if you get a tight a**e then it may not wash.
 
all i had to do was produce a club membership card, i got one as a entusiast :)

handy that work had a laminator :lol:
 
I just took a business card in, but when we wanted one for my mate, that helps me out occasionally, they wanted something on headed paper which was easy enough with Word.

No you don't get discounts on discounted stuff.

Blimey some people are never satisfied.

The best discounts are on Halfords own branded stuff.
 
I took a load of receipts and 10 mins later had one. Tell you what, I wouldn't be without it! Saved me a small fortune over the years!
