I've got freelander 2 2014 2.2 diesel auto picked it up about a month ago driving home came up with gearbox fault code read it it was saying haldex pump open circuit, just changed pump and filter topped up oil and now getting different code that it p0961- Pressure Control Solenoid A Control Circuit Range/Performance

Any one had same issues If so what can it be

You're better off asking in the Freelander section of the forum.

However the pressure control solenoid valve can fail electrically, but also the controller module can get water ingress, which can cause pump and valve drive issues.
Your best bet is to remove the controller module for a look inside, which you'd have to do to replace the solenoid anyway.
