Once upon time Land Rover had rain gutters that put the rain somewhere sensible rather then straight into the cab when you open the doors.

Anyone here come up with a modification to put things right?

Landy's have always leaked - and from the new reviews always will;)

Check from inside the top corners where the roof and windscreen pillars meet - there can often be big gaps - you may need to remove the door rubber slightly as well to see.

Dum dum or tiger seal will improve things for you

Or if water only comes in when you open the door, park on a slope:D

No no no, not the inner gutters, the outer gutters.. There must be some way to extend them over the windscreen.

I've done a mod for this,

park tother way round!!

Sorry :p:p

I park facing uphill when im at home now, then the rain leaks off the back, drivers footwell stays dry then too, and up wet though if I park facing downhill

Or fit bigger wheels on the front..

There must be something that will fit in the gutters some sort of L-shape.. something.

Oooooh ffs, turn your truck upside down.....then it wont leak, and you wont have to drive it and spend money on fixing it..win win :)

You'll probably be surprised to know most of the water comes from the inner gutters.

I drilled a small hole thru the rear corner of the sides so it exits just below the outer gutter, not had a drop of water thru the front doors. Since I did this.

I had thought of doing something similar.. Got any pics?

Pics??? He literally drilled though from the bottom back corner of the inner gutter, down at an angle so it comes out just below the outer gutter  About a 5mm bit if I remember

Quite an interesting thread, this one, since acquiring my 90, I have carried out a full seam and door rubbers check, using TIGER SEAL, and running seal along all roof seams, ( older type three bar roof on my 90 ), then all sides and rear seams, then all front bulkhead area seams. Note, this tiger seal is pretty good stuff.
after the above, I have found very minor spots of water sitting on drivers side inner door stay closer, this I have traced, and need a little more seal down front of door frame..

My main problem now is that I still have the very rear of inner gutters full of water after parking uphill,,, by carefully feeling along inner gutter, its dry until about 600mm from rear, ive even tried sealing the very narrow inner seal behind the main inner gutter.
Any of you fonts of all knowledge know where the fu, sorry, waters getting in please.
