The guy from Ebay sent me a message saying if for any reason the winning bidder does not turn up I can have second chance so fingers crossed might get it yet:)

Bloody ell Flossy, you went from a van to SW, that ,must have been a hell of a job?
I was lucky in that a sw appeared in a localish breakers that gave me the roof, tub, sides and 2nd row seat frames. B post frames picked up at a lro show somewhere, all new doors..
It's all just nuts and bolts really and a few extra brackets.

Dude , really , buy a complete vehicle if you can afford it , then rechassis it , save your self some agro..
Just want something to make a start on rebuilding axles etc then look for cheap parts as I go long

I never thought about buying it for the V5 and ID, in order to do a complete rebuild.

I guess in that case it could be worth it.

I used to love tinkering on with my old one, cant wait to start again. always something to fix or adjust.

SO buy an axle and rebuild it, wait for the right vehicle to come along, nothing stopping you from building a rolling chassis.

Never thought of doing it that way , to busy concentrating on getting something with I D first but you've got me thinking now Mate, I was planning on doing it in stages, stopping when I run out of money then starting again when I get more to spend ect,I could start on rolling chassis then ID when I get the chance, as I am in no hurry whatsoever, could take me years This One.

Gonna take my time and try and find the right one.
Have the galvanised Chassis gone up in price ? I'm sure they were cheaper a few months ago, are there any other places apart from Richards and Marshlands??
