well ask nicely and i will tell them how to make it a manualwhat are they going to do for the inevitable TD6 gearbox rebuild.

well the instructions are free have to find your own bits todo itfor free
i gave it a try mate risking blowing my bags(replacing all 4 anyway) it definately has a pressure release valve it went to the fullest height then there was a hiss from the rear i thought it was my bag but it was coming from near the compressor filterIMO the issue is can you raise it manually "safely". I have never experience it but from what I have read an airbag can explode with a lot of force. So how do you know when you have gone above the safety margins built in by LR. And if you are driving with over inflated airbags and one does let go how many people can you take out with 2.5 tons of metal.
mine came in at 3.1 ton with a quarter tank of fuel! how could that be?IMO the issue is can you raise it manually "safely". yeah i suppose ive taken you guys wrong sorry if ive caused any offence i really came here just to help someone out if they are in a bind i will write a guide and make a disclamer to say it is only a temporary measure and not advisable unless it is totally undrivable for example just to drive to a garage or somethingNot all of us on here have money to burn, I was one of 5 children living in a 2 bedroom house with an outside toilet FFS. But RRs can be costly to run, all I am saying is if they have to do things in a very cheap way then perhaps an RR is not the right car for them. If people struggle to find £150 for a cheap diagnostics what are they going to do for the inevitable TD6 gearbox rebuild.
Oh and you will get a fair bit of constructive criticism and P*** taking on here.

Sounds like you have bacterial growth in the tank if it was black and slimy, a common problem is the tank level is always low. You can buy Bactericide to treat diesel always available at marinas but I think I can give you a link to buy on line if you want to try it.so guys i posted this in another thread but ill ask here aswell
well my dad loaned the car off me (will never ever happen again) he ran it out of fuel i went down in the jag and put 20 quids worth in and it fired rite up but ever since it has been cutting out when you stop the car (a complete stop while holding your foot on the brake) but never when driving or when idling eather in drive
but it only ever happens if the fuel light is on,well i changed the filter it was about a month old it was discusting compared to the one that had been on it for a year so im guesing the piece of gauze on the lift pump is blocked?
