I've won one on eBay, the buyer will post it but I've got to arrange the courier

He's packed it, measured it and arrived at 20kg

It's only a tube the width of the tub with a support bracket, I'd be surprised if it was 10kg

Anybody handled one with a rough idea of weight before I pay 3x what I need to on the courier

yeah i took mine off to repaint it and it is heavier than it looks, its quite a substantial bar and all the nuts and supports etc. Deffo more than 10kg, i cant go and weigh mine as its back on the car.

Mounts, bar, support bars, nuts (and if you have them feet) i reckon once packed you arent far off 20kg, if not more

Did you get the 2 angled feet that rivet into the tub? isnt very stable without them although it will still fit.

you got to include the packaging also not just the weight on the item. and 45lbs does not sound excessive. also the dimensions of the package determines the shipping cost

Doesnt sound excessive to me.
I paid £38 for my (tub mounted) rollbar to be delivered as it was 25kg before packing.

Ok thanks, heavier than I thought then, it does have the support bars as well

I'll get the courier booked

I've been lifting mine on and off for the past 2 days whilst cutting the desired hole and I would probably guestimate it around 16-18 kg, then the brackets are 800g-1kg each.

It's some pretty substantial tubing!
