Hello all.
Great to see that there's a forum with so many knowledgeable people. I might need some kindly dispensed advice at some time in the near future.
I've always had a fascination with land-rovers, especially series, but I've never got around actually owning one, for one reason or another. This year I've made the decision and put a bit of cash aside to invest in something I fancy.
However, I living in Spain, which is both good and bad, I think.
On the bonus side there are quite a lot of series Santanas out there, and they look fairly cheap. I'm looking to buy one from the Jaen region, where it's pretty dry and they don't throw salt all over the roads when it gets a bit nippy.
On the downside the models are a bit different in some ways. Santana changed a few things as they went along and I'm worried about being able to classify some parts and spares in the future.
Anyway. That's where I am with this, and that's where I'm aiming to go.
Looking forward to sharing some experience with you all.
