Hi everyone! Long time lurker here. This forum is so full of good advice, good info and general good knowledge (and also vicious discussions about "oil for TD5") that it was literally no bigger need for me to make an account and post anything - pretty much everything has been covered, every question I could ever have regarding a Landy has already been answered. On behalf of lurkers like me, I would like to thank everyone reading this.

A 1999 Discovery II TD5 in 602 Oxford Blue brought me here, made me pretty much a mechanic (and a Landy fanatic) over the course of this year. I was growing up around many Lada's in my family (yes, a Lada Niva too), so a 25 year old Land Rover sounded just about right to me when I was looking for my first car.

With that said, Greetings from Poland.
If you find yourself around Wrocław by any chance, let me know, beer and spare parts are on me :vb-beer:

Good morning, Welcome to the forum,

We drove through Poland about 15 years ago in my 1992 110 CSW 200TDI Defender, not far from yourself. Lovely countryside, I can remember it well and we went right up the the Ukraine border. We felt like true explorers as it was an ex military guy doing it and it was in the sticks most of the time. When one campsite in the middle of nowhere was closed it was literally 5 mins to a TESCO Carpark we all camped in.... quite amusing so we weren't actually in the middle of nowhere.

Welcome to landyzone best fish and chips shop.

I was born and grew up in Eastern Ukraine, moved to Poland for my studies in 2020. Can you believe there are no more Tesco's in Poland? They closed up for some reason. These are the adventures you always remember, that's the stuff!
