Greetings all.
I, am a Landy-less fool, adrift in a sea of poorness and full time education. Obviously, I have a thing for Land Rovers, I just have insufficient funds to purchase one. My family has had Land Rovers in the past though, surely that counts? Anyway, I'm Berk-shire based and bored, so, Hi.

I wouldn't worry about it- get used to being poor especially if you do eventually get a Landy :p
 
:welcome2: and don't worry none of us ACTUALLY have Landys......a few did years ago but they were all found frozen solid still gripping the steering wheels, apart from one poor chap who drowned in EP90 while investigating a gearbox leak..........But we dream
 
I just copied a pic off the internet and pretend it's mine- aiming to pretend the bills for it's upkeep aren't real too :doh:

Ha ha, thanks for the warm welcome all, I feel guilty taking 24(+) hours replying, you're all so quick. Any advice, no matter how loony, is welcome. I will own one, soon. Honest.

Hardy har, just like driving the real thing! Except faster, and quieter, and more comfortable.... :D Yeah, I know exactly what they're like, and I still want one!

I havn't found the advice yet where to find the cheap honest ones,only the ones to avoid,all the legal honest ones folks want to many mars bars for em!:p
 
Cheap is good, under £800 for road legal wheels is the rough target.. What with the remaining £3000 of my entire life savings going on insuring the damned thing.
 
you can get well rusted discos for bout 500 if you shop around and wait.but you will need to do a lot of work.mot failures come up on eblag quite often.

Gwent to look at a disco that was 2grand and that was well rusted:lol:

Thats it a well rusted one should only be worth scrap value if it is that bad and I can not get £500 from weighing in a disco not unless I fill it with concrete first!
