Hi all, just signed on, have a 2007 LR3 (D3) V6 Ford Cologne SOHC 4.0L gasoline (petrol) powered machine with 265,000 Km on it now. The engine was replaced with a 2008 Ford Ranger engine at 248,000 Km after an unfortunate rear timing chain cassette breakage caused the pistons and valves to violently interface with each other. To help prevent future instances of pistons and valves kissing, have installed a Moroso accumulator, which pre-pressurizes the lubricating system (specifically the hydraulic timing chain tensioners) before startup. Hope to contribute to the forum, temperature here is allegedly approaching 30C today...
