Hi everyone,
Our small group were planing Easter weekend Laning Salisbury Plains, but unfortunately some have had to drop out due to work commitments. So at the moment there are just 2 of us now, so if anyone would like to come to make up some numbers Please get in touch as it would not be a wise move to go as a pair, just in case. If we can make the numbers up we will confirm the weekend at the end of March.

Cheers guys.

If I get my arze in gear I might just have mine ready for then :)

If not, maybe another time

We should do a Salisbury day - that would be good fun :D

Most definitely :)

When I've finished cutting it up and welding it back together I will see if I can con, erm, errr.... encourage @The Mad Hat Man to come down with me on a reccy mission to plan a day of lanes with a luncheon stop somewhere for a bite an a brew :)

GLASS membership is worth every penny for the resources you can access :)

It’s not the recovery. It’s SP slurry. It is highly corrosive and like grinding paste. It destroys bearings and chassis and sets like concrete in radiators. I have never known a trip without a couple of vehicles being trailered home :(.

Well that’s Salisbury Plain crossed off my list!!

If I can get the truck up together and you would accept a newbie I’m in!
With our group, everyone is welcome, we don't charge a membership or anything as we are just a few mates out for some off-roading fun. All we ask is you bring a standard tool kit, and preferably have a AA membership. We don't leave anyone behind, any break downs and we tow to the nearest road for recovery with your chosen breakdown service. This is not a definate yet as we would like to get 5 maybe 6 others to tag along. Our plan is to travel from Derby on the 19th April spend the weekend until Sunday evening then travel back. Confirmation will be made at end of March as to whether it goes ahead or not , however if the numbers are not met, we will be Laneing, but maybe not our chosen routes, happen Derby or Sheffield area, but still, all are welcome, its nice to make new friends.
