Bit of a trek from you though up to Ipswich!

Yes, it is! Been to Cambridgeshire with the trailer before for cattle! :)
Not a lot wrong with me motor anyway tbh, but sure I could find some little jobs for the novel experience of working in a warm place! :D

Thanks for the replies guys. I will wait until the weather gets better if the lanes are all flooded out or too wet to not cause damage. To be fair I haven't been around my local ones in the recent bad weather so I don't know how bad it is here either - I'd assume not great.
Either way seems my vehicle needs some more maintenance so may not be out for a while. Very interested in meeting some of the board members from around here for a few laning trips when the weather gets better.

No probs, Ben.

Hello all, Not been out in a while with this weather so just being playing on the estate. Found a good bog we gave a go the other night, as a result of said bog I've had to buy a new alternator but all good fun! ;) Sorry if I miss anything on here so so busy at the minute and not a fan of the new forum layout so rarely check up on here!

i went laning in suffolk on sunday, had a great day although some american airmen from lakenheath off road club were churning the **** out of the trails in there american 4x4's!!

Fare comment.
Some just don't think or care.

Agreed. Some of the lanes our way are very wet indeed.

When I went laning in Suffolk the majority of the lanes were wet but the difference is the lane surfaces are a semi hard packed gravel, they had large water holes but the bottoms of them were hard stone. Some bugs are even concrete roads over some lovely scenery.
