It wasn't too bad Steve. The route could be better though there was quite a lot of turning around and plain tracks. I think it needs some work to weed out the boring lanes. We did do that steep climb again though, think we've got the knack of it now. Oh and my roof rack had to come off to get past a tree at one point.
I've got some vids of the climb on the phone I'll see if I can get them on here later.

Changed my avatar finally... bye bye series.

Just checked the TRO on that first lane. That sign was for the next lane up (Grayshott 13) with the barrier across. It must have found it's way down to the first lane somehow. How much confusion would that cause.

Thank you Paul once again for great lanes was really good to do some new ones :)

And thank you Paul and Hman for helping me with the air situation for the tyre, probably works better with air and not water

Nice to see you again Simon what with a fist bump and an awkward air kiss so posh!

I have 2 not very good videos and 1 picture on facebook, but Stina has tagged me in some there, 1 of the hill so they should be able to be viewed :)

Thanks for today everyone, shame i had to go, was looking forward to the steep climb, did any one have problems getting up????????????.

Great day out, nice one Paul.

Yep love the awkward air kisses Em, gotta laugh

That gixer video is quite funny really, god knows what possessed him to try it

Hasn't that been filled in yet?
Sniffs and I tried that months ago and decided on discretion.

That is gonna wipe out that section if not fixed soon:(.

Mad Hat that vid is of a lane out Alton way. The one you're thinking of is over near hindhead. With the way that hindhead lane washes out in the rain its become a lot smoother. A lot more drivable now. Still a bit of an axle twister but no way near as rutted when you came out with us.
They have however TRO'd Grayshott 13 which is a steep climb up with a big v gulley in the centre. I'm sure a few ppl have fallen prey to that one if they're not sensible about it.

It doesnt look that bad on the vid paul but coz theres a tree right next to the rut u cant really attack it like you want to but good fun anyway lol, nice to see you out again simon prob see you on the next one

I know it's Alton way. Comes straight off the main Alton road and has a sharp left hander at the top.
It needs fixing before someone has a big problem and rolls down the slope :(.

Ok theres a newbie down in Seaford wanting to go out laning so ive offerred to take him out, it will down near Lewes not been down there for a couple of yrs so not sure what the lanes are like now, but if you want a day out let me know, looks about three weeks away ok.

didnt think they were that great lewes way, i would join you but cant drive the rover at the moment, will be up for it in the future though!

There were some good ones the last time i was down there but that could have changed lol

Yeah I should be up for that Steve.
Hopefully have my humming front axle sorted by then. I'm putting a new diff in this weekend to see if that sorts it.

Hi
I am being posted to bordon next week, are you guys still going to be doing after work greenlaning? If so if love to come!

I've got a defender 110 sw on xzl's. I also have quite a lot of off roading experience through the army

Hi Adam,

We've done the occasional night run. We're usually out on the weekends though.
Best thing is to keep an eye on this thread for up coming outings.
