Thanks everyone for a great evening. My clutch finally gave out completely as I reversed onto the drive! Thankfully managed to get parts today and it's back on the road again :)
Anyone planning the next trip yet?
 
Hi all. Thanks for coming along and making it a great evening. Definitely one to remember. I think I'll be investing in one of those high lift jacks now. They seem very worth while carrying.
Sorry about the clutch Davethsparkey at least once it's replaced you know it's done and not going to go again for a loooong time. I have no idea what the condition of my clutch is like on my series.

There is one on gumtree for £20 in Farham portsmoth

Yeah it is definitely going to last a while now. I just wish I'd changed the hydraulic side of it when I put a new clutch, gearbox and t box in it a couple of months ago.

no idea matey to be honest, I guess it would be good to find somewhere new? failing that I'm quote happy with the usual route, I haven't been out for a while, we should probably take some sarnies and have a little picnic lol :hippie:
