Jeezus poppy, how did they get like that? Thank goodness you got them in time.

Christ knows  became aware of clumping noise just coming into Farnham pulled up on high street to discover offending nuts!!
Even my locking wheel nuts were hanging off.
I have two thoughts on this
One, there's been a car hanging round my road doing slow drivebys wondering if someone got disturbed on wheel removal? Possible but no damage to locknut
Or had breaks done two weeks ago maybe never got tightened properly!? I never thought to check them

Yeah mine seem to loosen off quite rapidly. Not sure why. I think because its a ramped nut rather than a nut with shoulders on it. Pretty course thread too.
I check mine every couple of trips now.

Is the screw puncture repairable Andy?

Ive never understood why tyres are filled with air, surely in this day and age there must be something we can fill tyres with to stop punctures, maybe some kind of heavy duty sponge so you still get the bounce but dont suffer the punctures, the amount of cyclists i see repairing punctures on the side of the road is amazing, maybe thats another one for Dragons Den lol

There is it was on top gear a while ago odd looking tyres but they were capable :D

Must have missed that one, did it catch on as ive never seen it advertised anywhere?

Dunno not seen them again since they they were a tough rubber tread type affair but instead of a tyre wall they had kind of rubber spoke things inside to hold the shape of the tyre so no air no walls to split wired things

Yes done a youtube search and seen them in action they seem ok, but if you were in some deep mud i wonder what they would be like as surely the gaps would all fill up!
