Bluebell woods is looking lovely except for the two idiots driving off piste in the hollow - last I saw they had the motor (shogun, I think) jammed across a tree trunk at the bottom - might still be there with a bit of luck

Should of got a number plate mate, I keep normally a keep a dash cam running whenever I go out lanning now so if any of the public get snotty I've got it on tape and can prove anything should they report things etc. I can't afford to get anything on record or will have 'licenses' removed and then no job ;)

i did wonder about taking pics - just thought "they is well n truly stuck", so left em to it - "M" reg I think - as I said stuck over a tree trunk and revving the bollocks off it - with a bit of luck, still there :).

Thought I would leave before they asked for help :).

Hi Peeps. Long time no type. Been super busy with work. All work no play kinda thing.
I was thinking of heading out Sunday 10th. Anyone free?

I may be able to come along, as long as it's not too early in the morning, as coming off a night shift. Haven't been out in ages.

Nigel :)

What have you checked so far Andy? lift pump, stop solenoid?

It overheated big style and the AA kindly brought it home for me.
We've put a brand new head on it big it just doesn't want to start .
I've checked that it's got diesel at all injectors, put a new fuel filter on.
I suspect it's got compression issues now

rings stuck, on petrol cars we used to put 1/2 teaspoon of oil in each bore and crank over plugs out, refit and try-or drag up road 4th gear and they went.

try easy start on a diesel as petrol on a rag old skool n iffy

I've tried easy start, it didn't help.

I've got both batteries out now for charging, all these attempts at starting have flattened them

It's a 300 tdi, there ain't no fuses to blow. The stop solenoid opens and the starter spins, that's all the electrics required.
It's got diesel at the top of every injector,
