im from the midlands and ive seen a few lanes blocked of with concrete blocks
the one was a ford not far from stonebridge island.
is this the way the council close lanes off
ive never been greenlaning but always wanted to but was always worried about the legalities of it all.

The ford your on about is/was packington ford. It was permanently TRO'd last year or the year before i think. The farmer has access to it but its no longer a public right of way.

The ford was very popular so i believe the blocks are there to stop all but bikes. :(

The council have to put forward an argument as to why they want a TRO

Stick around on this thread and next time some people are going out then ask to tag along. Get to know the local people and then you will pick up how to find lanes.

I have a bright yellow 1998 disco 2 td5, 3" lift, 35" simex extreme trekker tyres on modulars, snorkel, steering guards, terra firms arches, winch bumper (no winch yet) heavy duty rear bumper, spots etc... Oh and just bought a lada niva for more extreme off roading where my landy might not make it.

Oh and I'm not even biting to the lada thing.......

I've only had the disco for 5 weeks (had a red 200tdi before that) and I live in hillmorton just off of lower hillmorton road. It's took me most of those 5 weeks to make it roadworthy let along ready for off road, but we are getting there now.

are you in rugby too then?

Anyone up for sunday?

Got nothing to do and wouldnt mind gettin out on some lanes.

Could even head over to shropshire if you want?

Brilliant lanes over that way.

Oh well hunningham to ufton lanes are closed ..Roadsigns and concrete blocks and full diversion in place.

Snowford Hill Hunningham through to Ufton is fully open, trundled through this afternoon - the section from the canal bridge to Ufton has been repaired with rubble.

Mainlander and Stu

You guys still want a trundle out tomorrow?

I have a load of routes mapped so can meet in cov if you want and go from there?
