I for one, would love to attend an green lning weekend in wales. Not sure but I don't sem to be able to think of any reason to pay for it though ( other than a pint for any driver that pulls me out of the mire).

If anyone ends up arranging such a weekend me and the crew (family) would love to attend... I kow there was one a few weeks ago but Wales seems to have an abundance of lanes and it would be rude not to explore them sometime.

Trip out in two weeks, will be just what your looking for. If you can't make it there is another one planned later in the summer. You would have to join the club so you would have to pay to some degree, but if you want to do more later in the year it will be worth it. I usually lead one of the groups and the trips are worth you coming over.
